Hello, Charger Families,
This is Dr. Walston with an important graduation update.
Due to severe thunderstorms predicted in our area between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., we are moving our graduation ceremony indoors. I have made this decision out of an abundance of caution for our graduates and guests. The ceremony will still begin at 7:00 p.m., with doors to the school opening at 5:00 p.m. Please take note of the following:
Graduates have six tickets for admission into our gym. No one will be permitted inside the school without a ticket in hand at our gate.
All guests will enter via the front lobby of Northwood High School.
We expect a full capacity crowd. No backrests or seat cushions will be permitted in the gym.
We plan to reserve the bottom rows for individuals in wheelchairs and with physical limitations.
Handicap parking remains behind the school. You may drop individuals off in front of the gym prior to parking.
The graduation will be livestreamed. You can find the link to the livestream on the district’s website, social media platforms and on YouTube @ChathamCountySchools https://youtube.com/live/80D5PW0qC6M?feature=share
Students, please plan to be here by 6:00 p.m. and meet in the auditorium.
We look forward to celebrating the graduating class of 2024 this evening!
