Yondr Pouch Pilot Program

What is a Yondr Pouch?

The Yondr pouch is a secure bag that uses a magnetic locking device to store student mobile devices, such as cell phones and earbuds. There are two type of pouches to accommodate student needs.

How could Yondr Pouches benefit our students?

Yondr conducts annual surveys with their school partners to help determine the benefits students experience from having a cell-phone free school. Data below was collected from 1200 school partners after implementing Yondr Pouches.

Next Steps

Seaforth, Jordan Matthews, Chatham Middle, George Moses Horton, Margaret B. Pollard Middle School and ONE Academy will pilot Yondr Pouches for the 2024-2025 School Year.
Parents and students will receive notification from their schools about the implementation of Yondr Pouches in July

Parent and student information sessions will be held in early August.
Parent and student will be given detailed information about the how student will receive their Yondr Pouches and the expectations for use by mid- August
