  • The Governor’s Page Program gives high school students from all over North Carolina the opportunity to come to Raleigh for a week of hands-on participation in their state government. We want the Page Program to represent North Carolina’s diverse communities and help inspire a new generation of leaders.

Habitat Wake: Summer of Service Internship Program

  • Unpaid volunteer opportunity

  • As a Habitat Wake intern, you will select a concentration track and commit to working alongside staff and volunteers to gain new skills. Your positive attitude and volunteer spirit will help support Habitat Wake’s mission to bring people together to build homes, communities and hope.

  • Summer Ventures in Science and Mathematics is a no-cost, state-funded program for academically talented North Carolina students who aspire to careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. If hands-on, independent learning is appealing to you, and you are excited about the idea of conducting research to answer questions that intrigue you, this is the program for you!

Naval Academy Summer Seminar $

  • Summer Seminar gives you a taste of life at the Academy and kick-starts your application journey for an appointment to the Academy. For one week in June, you will experience first-class academic, athletic and professional training while building lifelong friendships with campers from all over the country.

NC State Design Camp 2023 $

  • Day Camp: This camp is perfect for high school students interested in exploring all of the undergraduate studio based majors offered at the College of Design.

  • Immersions Day Camp: This camp is perfect for rising 10th, 11th and 12th grade students interested in experiencing an immersive college level studio experience and completing a week-long studio project.

  • Residential Camp: This camp is perfect for rising 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students interested in exploring all of the undergraduate studio based majors offered at the College of Design, and experiencing what residential life is like for College of Design students.

NC A&T High School Transportation Institute

  • Experience field trips to Washington, DC, Wilmington and Charlotte, NC. Learn about the history and future of transportation through STEM fields. Meet transportation professionals across the state and cutting edge researchers of emerging technologies like drones, nanotech, and autonomous vehicles right here in Greensboro. Receive free SAT prep, career development training, and classroom instruction from NC A&T's STEM faculty.

Cooperative Council of NC Leadership Camp

  • Learn about the Cooperative Business Model and have a blast at a free overnight camp.

Cooperative Council of NC Leadership Camp

  • Camp Monroe in Laurel Hill, NC

  • Learn about the Cooperative Business Model and have a blast at a free overnight camp. It will feature energetic and interactive workshops, presentations, outdoor recreation and leadership building exercises. The camp is designed to provide a learning experience that concentrates on the cooperative way of doing business, building a better understanding and appreciation for the cooperative model. Each year, five campers are selected to receive leadership awards for their unique leadership abilities and receive an all-expense-paid trip to the National Institute on Co-op Education at Virginia Tech University. All campers will also be eligible to apply for the $1,000 Jim Graham Cooperative Leadership scholarship for their senior year of high school.

IMPACT Camp $

  • Scholarships & financial assistance available 

  • IMPACT Camp provides Triangle high school students with a local and affordable week-long summer service experience. Together, a diverse cohort of participants learn about the issues facing their community by working on a variety of service projects, hearing from community leaders, and engaging in reflection activities.

STEM Camp at Campbell University $

  • App due June 29

  • July 12 - 14

  • Rising 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th

  • Opportunity for students to do hands-on activities with faculty and staff in the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences and the School of Engineering. Registration for STEM Camp includes a $150.00 non-refundable fee per student. There are Tier 1 Scholarships available for a limited number of students per camp. Fifty seats are available per camp and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Civic Engagement Leadership Institute $

  • CELI is an intensive week-long summer enrichment experience that empowers high school students to impact Triangle communities through socially conscious thought and action. By exploring the root causes of social issues, working with nonprofit agencies, and creating capstone service projects, students develop knowledge, skills, values, and motivation to help shape the future of the Triangle and beyond.

Model United Nations $

  • App due the Thursday before the week of camp

  • July 18 - 22 / Durham, NC

  • Scholarships & financial assistance available 

  • In an adapted Model UN simulation, students take on the role of UN ambassadors and learn the fundamentals of diplomatic debate. Students think critically, act collaboratively, and together develop solutions to today's most pressing global challenges. The Center is partnering with UNC-Chapel Hill's own Model United Nations club to facilitate this week.
