CHATHAM EARLY COLLEGE NAMED PTEC SIGNATURE SCHOOL
Chatham County, NC— Chatham Early College has been named a Signature School by the Piedmont Triad Education Consortium (PTEC), and was acknowledged for this honor at the PTEC’s annual meeting held at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro on December 12, recognizing the school’s outstanding commitment to innovation, excellence, and student achievement.
Each year, PTEC highlights schools across the Piedmont Triad region that exemplify exceptional practices, foster student success, and serve as models of effective educational leadership. This prestigious honor underscores Chatham Early College’s dedication to providing a unique and transformative educational experience that prepares students for success in higher education and beyond.
Chatham Early College, a collaborative program between Chatham County Schools and Central Carolina Community College, provides students with the opportunity to earn both a high school diploma and an associate degree, with pathways that include transferable credits for further education or career-ready qualifications that lead directly into the workforce. The school’s innovative approach supports academic growth, critical thinking, and college readiness, making it a cornerstone of educational excellence in the community.
